About

What to know before you choose

Function cards are filled from your own functions in date order: card one is your first function, card two the next. Each prints the function's name, weekday, date, time and venue the way you typed them.

A film has a fixed number of cards. If you have more functions than cards, the first ones in date order are shown. If you have fewer, the film cannot be made until every card has a function, so pick a film that fits.

Each family can get their own copy that greets them by name. Families who are invited to only some functions still receive the whole film, so for those guests a per-family link or a Gaana Invite, which keeps only their functions, may suit better.

3D invitations

Every function, in 3D

The 3D family invitations give each function a living scene with its day and time written into the world: Haldi, Mehendi, Engagement, Sangeet, Cocktail, Baraat, Wedding and Reception. A function with no scene of its own, like a Ganesh Puja or Tilak, rides on its day's scene as a small line.

Questions

Every function caricature invitations, answered

Which caricature invitation shows every function?

All the long ones walk through the functions before RSVP. Carved Doorways has Haldi, Mehandi, Sangeet, the wedding and the reception. Palace Terrace has Haldi and Mehndi by day, Sangeet at night, Phere at dawn and the reception under the moon.

What if we have more functions than the film has cards?

The cards fill in date order, so your first functions are shown. If you have fewer functions than the film has cards, choose a film with fewer cards.

Which is the shortest caricature invitation with all functions?

Sandstone Cards, at 30 seconds: Haldi, Mehndi, Sangeet and Shaadi Ki Raat on seven cards of one carved frame.

Does each function show its venue?

Yes, where the film's card has space for it: the function's name, day, date, time and venue, as you typed them.
