These are the terms for using ShaadiMode to build and share a wedding invitation. Short, because the product is simple: you make an invitation, you share a link, your families reply on it.
A wedding-invitation website you build yourself: an opening film and page for your wedding, a link per family, replies with meals and headcounts, and the tools around them (guest list, updates, check-in, planning). It is not a wedding planner, a vendor, or a payment service between you and your guests.
You sign in with an email link or a Google account. Anyone you invite as an editor, by link or by email, can change everything about your wedding, so share that access with people you trust. You are responsible for what is published under your wedding.
Names, photos, words and guest details you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and display them to run your invitation, and to nothing else. Only add photos and names you have the right to use. We may remove content that is unlawful or abusive, and we will tell you if we do.
You send invitation links from your own WhatsApp. On plans that include them, updates go from ShaadiMode’s WhatsApp number only to families who ticked “send me updates” on their reply. Do not use ShaadiMode to message people who did not ask to hear from you.
The first 200 weddings on ShaadiMode get the Signature plan free, forever. After that, plans are one-time payments per wedding, never a subscription. Prices are on the pricing page and include GST where it applies. There is no online checkout yet; we will say so on the pricing page until there is.
If you paid for a plan and never shared your invitation, tell us within 7 days and we refund it in full. Once links have gone to guests the work has been done, and we do not refund, but we will fix anything that is broken. Full details: Refund policy.
Your invitation does not expire after the wedding. Links guests already have keep working. If we ever need to retire a wedding page, we give you at least 90 days’ notice and a way to download your replies.
We keep the site running and your data safe to the standard of the providers we build on. We cannot promise WhatsApp, email or any network will deliver every message, and we are not responsible for a guest who does not reply. Our liability to you is limited to what you paid us for the wedding in question.
You can ask us to delete your wedding and everything in it at any time by emailing hello@shaadimode.com. We may close an account that breaks these terms, with notice unless the breach is serious.
