Interactive save the date cards
An interactive save the date is a card that does something when it is opened: an envelope that unseals, diyas that light, a foil you scratch away. Guests open it from a WhatsApp link on their phone, see your names, date and city, and can add the date to their calendar in one tap.
These are small web pages, not images and not videos. That is why they can react to a finger: a scratch, a tap, curtains that part when the envelope is opened. It is also why they stay light enough to open on any phone over a patchy connection.
Every card switches between English and Hindi, and every card greets the family by name when it is opened from that family's own link.

Do guests need an app to open an interactive save the date?
No. It is a link that opens inside WhatsApp's own browser, or any phone browser, with nothing to install.
Which interactive cards can guests scratch?
Photo Scratch, Interactive Scratch, Elegant Photo Scratch, Soft Lace Edit and The Lace Edit all have a layer the guest scratches away with a finger to reveal the message.
Can I put our own photo on the card?
Not yet. The two photo-scratch cards show the picture that comes with the design. Your names, date, city and venue are the parts you fill in.
