What is the best way to share wedding photos with guests?

Share one gallery link instead of a Google Drive folder. On ShaadiMode a guest opens it from WhatsApp or the venue QR, takes one selfie, and sees only the photos they are in once that function's photos open (live, after the function or next morning, as you choose). Your studio's name is on the gallery.

A wedding photo sharing app is a gallery link the photographer shares with every guest, so each guest can find and save the photos they are in without a shared drive or WhatsApp group.

Step by step

Sharing wedding photos with guests, step by step

  1. Add the wedding to your studio. Add the couple, the functions and the dates. Your studio name and logo go on the gallery.
  2. Upload the photos. Upload from your laptop, or on Pro straight off the camera over Wi-Fi while the function is on.
  3. Share one link. Send the gallery link on WhatsApp and put the QR on the tables. It opens in any phone browser.
  4. Guests find themselves. Each guest takes one selfie and sees every photo they are in. New ones arrive without a second selfie.

How ShaadiMode helps with sharing wedding photos with guests

  • No app, no folder of 3,000 photos. Guests never scroll through the whole wedding. They see their own photos, the ones you make public, and family albums in one tap.
  • Your name travels with every photo. The gallery, the venue wall and every guest reel carry your studio's name, and on Pro your watermark is on downloads too, so every share is an advert for you.
  • You decide what is public. Your uploads start as "Only people in it". You or the couple choose what everyone can see.

Avoid

Common mistakes with sharing wedding photos with guests

  • Sharing one Google Drive or WhatsApp group with every photo: guests download a few and never come back.
  • Sending full-size files on WhatsApp: they arrive compressed and lose quality.
  • Waiting for the final edit before sharing anything: guests want their stage photo the same night.

Questions

Questions about sharing wedding photos with guests

How much does the ShaadiMode photographer account cost?

For every photographer, the first wedding is free, up to 5,000 photos. After that it is a yearly plan by photos, with any number of weddings: Starter ₹2,999 a year for 25,000 photos (or ₹1,069 a quarter), Pro ₹6,999 a year for 1,00,000 photos (or ₹2,499 a quarter), Studio ₹13,999 a year for 2,50,000 photos (or ₹4,999 a quarter). More photos are ₹999 for 10,000.

Can guests save their photos?

Yes, unless you turn guest downloads off for that wedding. Downloads carry your studio's credit, and guests can also make a short reel from their best photos that ends with your studio's name.

Is guests' face data safe?

A guest's selfie is used only to find their photos in that one wedding. Guests see only the photos they are in plus the ones you or the couple make public, and their face data can be deleted any time.
