About Mooh dikhai

What should you know about Mooh dikhai?

Traditionally the bride sat veiled, and each relative lifted the veil to see her face and offered a gift. Today it is often a relaxed gathering where the bride is introduced to everyone at her new home.

Many families hold it on the day after the bride arrives. The bride often wears one of her wedding outfits for it, and the gifts are kept as her own.
